Important informations about posters and oral presentations :

Oral presentations are scheduled for 20 minutes per talk (including 5 minutes for discussion). Please be present during the break before your talk in order to prepare it.

Posters will be available for viewing on the day of your poster session. They have to be in portrait orientation (A0 size or less).

The poster sessions will start with a very short oral presentation (max. 3 min) of every poster. These presentations are definitely not meant to present all your results, but just to call the attention of the audience to your poster. This means that you should only address the research question and the methodology. It is strongly recommended to use PowerPoint for your short presentation. The presentations may only consist of three slides and need to be sent to Roel Jonkers in advance. This should be done before the 8th of September (r.jonkers(at)rug.nl). It is not possible to hand in your presentation during the conference. We must be very strict about this, as the oral presentations at the poster sessions are time consuming and we really would like to have ample time for the discussion of the posters.
