Tamirace Fakhoury

Tamirace Fakhoury is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at the Lebanese American University (LAU). She is also the associate director of the Institute of Social Justice and Conflict Resolution at LAU.

Fakhoury has been teaching since 2012 in the summer sessions at the University of California in Berkeley.Her core research areas are power sharing in divided societies, the linkages between migration and political systems, and migration governance in the Euro-Mediterranean zone.  Fakhoury has published in Current History, Middle East Policy, International Migration and the Middle East Journal.

She is currently writing a book on Arab diaspora engagement since the Arab revolts.
