Justin Ginnetti

Justin Ginnetti is Head of Data and Analysis at the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC). Since joining IDMC, he has been developing new ways to provide policy-relevant evidence on the scale, scope and patterns of past and potential internal displacement. He has coordinated IDMC's model of pastoralist displacement in the Horn of Africa and its probabilistic risk model of disaster-induced displacement.

He and his team are currently implementing a new monitoring strategy that will capture the dynamics of displacement situations as they evolve over time, from the moment displacement occurs until it has ended.

Prior to joining IDMC, Justin was a policy officer at UNISDR where he worked on the Global Assessment Report and the IPCC Special Report Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Adaptation.
