Arrival by plane: Milan Linate (LIN)

Milan Linate Airport (IATA-Code: LIN) is the second largest of the three airports in the Northern Italian metropolis of Milan. It is reached by relatively few airlines from the largest European capitals and mainly serves domestic traffic.

After arriving at Milan Linate Airport, take the Air Bus to Milan central station (Milano Centrale). The bus leaves every 30 minutes between 06:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. The ride takes about 25 minutes.

From Milan Centrale, you can reach Locarno by train. The quickest connection (ca. 2 hours 15 minutes) leaves every two hours. Depending on the train you will have to change either in Bellinzona or in Giubiasco.

Traveling time from Milan Linate Airport to Locarno is at least 3 hours.

On the day of arrival, May 20, 2018, there will be a free shuttle bus from the Locarno train station to the Hotel Complex and Conference Center Monte Verità at 01:40 p.m., 02:20 p.m., 03:00 p.m., 03:40 p.m., 04:20 p.m. and 05:00 p.m. (max. 11 persons per trip). The meeting point for the shuttle is on the right side of the train platform in Locarno (see image below).

On the day of departure, May 23, 2018, at 02:00 p.m., 02:40 p.m., 03:20 p.m. and 04:00 p.m. participants will be able to take the shuttle bus to Locarno free of charge.
