European Project Coordinations at UNIGE

A European project involves 10 to 20, sometimes more, partners from research institutes or industry, and a financing often at the level of several million euro. The coordination of such large-scale projects highlights the excellence of the researchers and enhances the global outreach of the host institution.
In the context of the 6th European Framework Program (2003-2006) the UNIGE obtained the coordination of seven collaborative projects. With the 7th European Framework Program (2007-2013) no less than nine European projects are already being coordinated by UNIGE researchers (see below). The researchers of the UNIGE benefit from the support and experience of the UNIGE European Grants Office for the building and management of these projects.
