4EU+ training opportunities in Open Science

UNIGE’s open science training offer is expanding

As part of the 4EU+ Alliance, a new series of webinars and specialised workshops, “Open for You! Webinars and Workshops to Discover Open Science”, is now available to members of the UNIGE community.

Offered free of charge, the programme is open to the entire university community and is particularly aimed at doctoral candidates and early-career researchers interested in open science issues.

Upcoming sessions

• Thursday, 9 April 2026, 10:00–12:00
  Research data: Should it be open, and under what conditions?
  Followed by the workshop Data Management Plans in Practice: From Principles to Action on 28 April or 5 May 2026 (one date of your choice)

• Wednesday, 13 May 2026, 14:00–16:00
  Scientific publishing: Who pays for access to research?
  Followed by the workshop Navigating Open Access Journals: Tools and Strategies on 22 or 27 May 2026 (one date of your choice)

• Thursday, 4 June 2026, 14:00–16:00
  Research quality and impact assessment: Rethinking bibliometrics
  Followed by the workshop Making Bibliometric Data Speak: Visualisation in Practice on 10 or 22 June 2026 (one date of your choice)
