Objective: Discover the principles of writing using the LaTeX language
Description : Office suites are not the only tools for creating documents. In scientific fields, many users prefer the LaTeX language. If you wish to discover LaTeX, its fundamental principles, and what this language can offer you for writing your reports/theses/articles, attend the next “Rendez-vous de l’info” at the Unige Library.

- Principles of the LaTeX language, advantages and disadvantages
- Main commands
- Main packages
- Inserting tables, figures, and equations
- How to find and use existing online tools (templates, automatic generators, AIs)
- Logiciels complémentaires
Prerequisites:
- Creation of a free Overleaf account
OR
- Installation of two components on your computer: a TeX distribution (to read and compile LaTeX commands) and a LaTeX editor to assist with writing.
