Research data licensing

Objective: Choosing a Creative Commons license for the dissemination of your research data, while encouraging its reuse and respecting copyright.

Description: This short presentation will present the fundamental of copyright and what kind of research data are protected by it in Switzerland. It will also provide recommendations on how to choose a Creative Commons license for data, especially in an open data perspective.

Public: Students, PhD students, post-docs, researchers, teachers

Prerequisites: Previous participation to “Opening up your scientific contributions thanks to Creative Commons licenses (in 15 minutes) or knowing these licenses is advised.

Format: Takes place online via Zoom
