The University of Geneva (UNIGE) provides a wide range of core facilities aiming at investigating, developing or storing scientific knowledge, encouraging applied, clinical and fundamental research, from the life sciences to the humanities.

These core facilities are state-of-the-art scientific platforms available to researchers at the UNIGE, as well as to external academic or private partners.

Through access to cutting-edge technologies, instruments, and services, the core facilities enable scientists to perform their research.

They reduce the equipment and labour costs of individual labs and promote interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaboration by facilitating interaction between UNIGE researchers from different fields and with other institutions.
