Geneva Expansion Microscopy (GenExM) Facility brings the power of expansion microscopy (ExM) to your research, delivering reliable and accessible super-resolution imaging for a wide range of biological samples.
Expansion Microscopy (ExM) is a super-resolution technique that physically enlarges samples in a distortion-free hydrogel, revealing nanoscale structures beyond the reach of conventional microscopy. Ultrastructure Expansion Microscopy (U-ExM), developped in house, further improves molecular preservation and labeling precision, making it one of the most versatile and accessible tools for high-resolution biological imaging.
At GenExM, we leverage over a decade of U-ExM expertise across immunology, protistology, neuroscience, oncology, and ophthalmology. We deliver tailored support and three optimized U-ExM protocols, validated on cells, tissues, biopsies, and organoids, to ensure robust, reproducible imaging with unprecedented nanoscale detail. From academic research to pharmaceutical development, GenExM equips scientists to see deeper and discover more.
