Photonic Bioimaging Center

The Photonic Bioimaging Center is offering light microscopy instrumentation at the faculty of Sciences (Science 2 building).

Our mission is to train users on the instrument they choose  to answer their scientific questions.

Our goal is to teach them and transfer our knowledge so they may use an instrument independently.

To help our users further we also offer consulting on instrument choice, experimental design as well as image analysis and interpretation of results.

The facility offers several annual hands-on courses on general microscopy including image analysis using ImageJ. In consultation and dialogue with its users and user group heads, the facility evolves continuously by adding new equipment and advancing its technological portfolio.
