Arven Syla has been with the Energy Efficiency group since September 2021 where he is working on the flexibility assessment of energy systems. He has a bachelor degree in Power Systems from University of Prishtina, Kosovo. In 2019, he earned a Master’s degree on Smart Grids and Buildings from Grenoble Institute of Technology in France. He conducted his M.Sc. thesis at Grenoble Laboratory for Electrical and Engineering (G2ELab) where he created a platform for aggregators to provide ancillary services for electricity markets.
Prior to joining University of Geneva, he was project manager for an US-based company providing energy and smart buildings software services. He also worked as an energy consultant and engineer for energy utility companies in Kosovo.
