Sofonias Korsaye nominated as Assistant Professor in Finance at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School
Our PhD student, Sofonias Alemu Korsaye, has accepted an offer for a tenure track Assistant Professor in Finance position at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
Korsaye was supervised by Professor Fabio Trojani. His research area includes topics in both Theoretical and Empirical Asset Pricing with a particular focus on:
1) understanding the implications of market frictions on asset prices and investors' subjective beliefs
2) developing machine learning methodologies motivated by Asset Pricing theory
Korsaye received additional offers from some of the leading universities in both the USA and Europe.
