Jérémy Laurent-Lucchetti named Leman Fellow of the Hoffmann Centre for Global Sustainability at the Geneva Graduate Institute

GSEM Professor Jérémy Laurent-Lucchetti has been appointed Leman Fellow at the Hoffmann Centre for Global Sustainability at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
The Leman Fellowship is a distinguished program that brings together leading scholars to advance research and foster dialogue on sustainability, peace, and global governance. Fellows work across disciplines to address the complex interconnections between natural, economic, social, and political systems, with the aim of informing decision-making for a more equitable and sustainable future.
Jérémy Laurent-Lucchetti is Associate Professor of Economics at the GSEM within the Institute of Economics and Econometrics. His research focuses on political economy and environmental economics, with recent projects examining the link between water scarcity and social unrest, the role of land deals in conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the impact of income inequality on conflict and democratization.
