The 2024 edition of the 4EU+ Annual Meeting has successfully concluded, bringing together over 250 representatives from the Alliance’s eight partner universities in Warsaw from September 25th to 27th. Under the theme "Digital 4EU+: Education – Research – Cooperation," participants engaged in a comprehensive programme that included plenary sessions, parallel meetings, open lectures, and networking events. The event fostered dynamic exchanges and produced meaningful outcomes in the areas of education, research, and collaboration.

A central focus of this year's meeting was the One Comprehensive Research European University (1CORE) Project. Through this initiative, the Alliance aims to deepen its multidimensional, student-centred approach and advance the development of new joint digital infrastructures and services. Since joining the 4EU+ Alliance in 2022, the University of Geneva (UNIGE) has played a pivotal role in supporting the Alliance’s “global outreach” strategy by enhancing collaborations between Geneva-based international organizations and Alliance members. Initiatives such as the GSPI Study Trip - Environmental Governance, InZone Project, and SDG Olympiad exemplify these efforts.

To date, over 40 collaborative projects have flourished within the UNIGE community, benefiting from year-round funding schemes and networks accessible at the European level. The 4EU+ Alliance remains committed to continuing these partnerships with UNIGE to promote academic excellence and drive innovative research.
