Andrea is a Programme Management Officer at the Secretariat of the Basel Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions. He has extensive experience on multilateral environmental agreements and international organizations providing technical assistance to governments on issues related to chemicals and waste management, including plastic waste. He holds an MSc in European Economy and Business Law from University of Rome, Italy.

Andrea is an Academic Fellow at the Institute of Environmental Science. He guest lectures in the Summer School on Microplastic Pollution led by Professor Vera Slaveykova as well as in Master's course.
