Code of conduct
In this conference, the data you present might include sensitive life-writing materials. We expect all contributors to uphold the highest standards of ethical integrity. Please note your submission must comply with the following ethical principles:
- Research involving human subjects must be approved by an institutional ethics committee or review board, where applicable.
- Please obtain explicit, informed consent from individuals who are quoted or described, especially if they may recognise themselves despite anonymisation.
- Please anonymise all personal data, including names, dates, locations, organisations, and any contextual details that may lead to direct or indirect identification.
- Avoid presenting content that may cause psychological, emotional, reputational, or professional harm to individuals or communities.
- Do not include material that may retraumatise or distress.
- Portray all individuals with respect and dignity, even in critical narratives.
- Ensure factual accuracy and integrity : do not fabricate, falsify, or distort data.
Please note that we will reject submissions that perpetuate stereotypes, bias, or discrimination in any form.
