February 4, 2026 – myCare Start featured in the Revue Médicale Suisse

myCare Start was featured in the Revue Médicale Suisse to increase awareness among physicians and encourage their participation.

This publication represents an important step in strengthening interprofessional collaboration and expanding the reach of the project.


February 2, 2026 – First cluster transitions to myCare Start

A key milestone has been reached! The first cluster of community pharmacies has transitioned to the myCare Start intervention phase.

Eligible patients can now benefit from the service in participating pharmacies, marking the beginning of real-world implementation of myCare Start. A big thank you to all pharmacy teams for their commitment and enthusiasm!


November 2025 – Join Us at the Congrès Suisse des Pharmaciens

myCare Start will be presented by Professor Marie-Paule Schneider Voirol at the Congrès Suisse des Pharmaciens 2025 / Schweizer Apothekerkongress on Thursday, November 20th. We look forward to connecting with our pharmacy colleagues and sharing how implementation science is transforming practice across Switzerland.


November 1, 2025 – Recruitment Has Begun!

The Phase B trial of myCare Start officially kicks off today! Recruitment begins with pharmacies across the French-speaking region, involving 21 pharmacies before expanding to the German-Speaking Region on December 1st. We’re eager to see this exciting stage unfold — thank you to everyone making it possible.


October 2025 – Onsite Visits Begin in the French-Speaking Region

Our team has started onsite visits across Swiss Romandie to prepare pharmacies for Usual Care Recruitment. It has been wonderful meeting the dedicated pharmacy teams who will help bring myCare Start to life. Thank you all for your warm welcome and enthusiasm — we’re thrilled to begin this new chapter together!


October 2025 – myCare Start Featured in PharmaJournal

We’re excited to share that myCare Start has been featured in the October issue of PharmaJournal! The article showcases our project’s journey and the collaborative efforts driving better initiation adherence in Switzerland’s pharmacies.


September 2025 – myCare Start at the Interprofessional Symposium

Thanks to our master's student Nada Abad, myCare Start was presented at the 6th Interprofessional Symposium organised by pharmaGenève and IMAD (Institution genevoise de maintien à domicile). We’re delighted to see our next generation of researchers actively contributing to interprofessional collaboration in healthcare.


September 2025 – myCare Start at Journée Latine de l'Excellence en Santé

Our Project Lead, Professor Marie-Paule Schneider Voirol, and Project Co-ordinator, Dr. Sarah Serhal, were invited speakers at the Journée Latine de l'Excellence en Santé 2025. They shared insights on how implementation science principles are helping improve care through the myCare Start initiative. We are proud to contribute to advancing healthcare excellence in Switzerland!


June 2025 – myCare Start Wins PICE Award!

We are honoured to share that myCare Start received the Patient Involvement and Community Engagement (PICE) Award at the European Implementation Event 2025 – Implementation Impact in the Age of Complexity. The award followed a presentation by Dr. Sarah Serhal, “Co-creation approach to adapting an interprofessional pharmacy service targeting initiation adherence in Switzerland: myCare Start”, highlighting our collaborative and patient-centred approach.
A heartfelt thank you to all our stakeholders who have supported and shaped the project since the very beginning!
