19.05 | Conference

A new conference organized by the Library is taking place in May.
Join us on May 19, 2026 at the University of Geneva – CMU, in the A.-F. Müller auditorium (second floor).

At the heart of contemporary issues, attention is an interdisciplinary topic that concerns everyone—particularly the academic community and library users.

This conference offers an opportunity to explore its many facets. It first examines theoretical dimensions, focusing on how digital interfaces capture attention, the role of emotions, and the transformations brought about by artificial intelligence. It then moves on to practical approaches through initiatives at the University of Geneva, including the evolution of library spaces, awareness-raising activities, coaching programmes, practical workshops, and the development of attention skills.

The conference is in French
