FAQ

What does participating in a study entail for my child?

The majority of our studies are simple computer games. During the game, the children are typically asked to remember some information for a period of time.

I would like to let my child participate in one of your studies. How can I contact you?

First of all, thank you for your interest in our studies! To let your child participate in one of our studies, you can fill out this questionnaire. One of the team members will contact you as soon as possible to give you more information about our ongoing projects.

It is also possible to send an e-mail to Naomi.Langerock@unige.ch if you have any questions before filling out the questionnaire.

How long does it take for my child to participate in your study?

All our child studies typically last between 30 and 45 minutes. However, it often depends on the child's pace, so they may need less or more time than the average duration.

Where would the study take place?

Our lab is located in one of the buildings of the University of Geneva (Uni Mail, 40 Boulevard Pont d'Arve 1205 Geneva). In front of the building, you can find the tram stop ‘Uni-Mail’ (tram 15 and 17) other close stops are ‘Pont d’Arve’ and ‘Plainpalais’. Different studies might take place in different rooms in this building, thus the exact location will be clearly communicated to you by the responsible person of the study your child is participating in. Once you know the room, you can check how to get there on the map of Uni-Mail (only in French; see on the right of the page 'Plans du bâtiment mail par étages').

My child has participated in one of your studies and I would like to share your contact details with people I know, is this okay?

Of course, thank you for sharing! You can refer them to our website or give them Naomi Langerock's e-mail address (Naomi.Langerock@unige.ch).
