While critically reviewing current theories and practices of humanitarian leadership and people management, this Short Course aims to ascertain the leadership capacities of participants and situate their preferred management style.

Professional in the humanitarian, development or social sector looking to develop their competencies in leadership and people management, as well as reflect and capitalise on their experiences

Professional from any other sectors (private, academic, etc) and graduate student with relevant volunteer or intern experience who wish to increase their understanding of leadership and people management in the humanitarian field

Admission criteria

  • University qualification (bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent command of English
  • Motivation working in the humanitarian sector
