The GSEM launches a personalized intranet for its students

The Geneva School of Economics and Management launched a new personalized intranet for its students on 18 May 2022. Entirely developed by GSEM's Information Services for Student Services, the online platform functions as a resource hub and offers students personalized support and a range of services that can be accessed at any time.

In addition to being able to complete and submit forms online, the platform allows Bachelor and Masters’ students to find information on their course of study. The content is adapted to each student's background and includes details of their courses and examinations and provides details on the real-time status of their current applications.

The redesigned interface aims to efficiently manage Student Services staff requests by bringing together all services on the same intranet and allowing the team to have a complete overview of each student's situation. Communication will also be facilitated through having a section that groups together the announcements made to the student body and a section that allows direct contact with the service.

Through this initiative, the GSEM aims to improve its students’ experience in managing their university courses. The new tool is in line with the School's strategy of innovation and commitment to quality of services. It complements and follows other digital solutions developed in recent years, such as the platform for submitting and administering master and doctoral program applications, which has considerably reduced the time required to process applications.
