The GSEM publishes its 2024 Annual Report

The Geneva School of Economics and Management has published its Annual Report, reflecting on the year 2024. It presents the School's activities, commitments, and developments in the fields of teaching, research, and services to the community.

In 2024, the GSEM was able to substantially progress with implementing its strategy, which focuses on becoming a leading school that educates responsible leaders for a diverse and changing society by building on its Geneva Advantage.

The School celebrated two major milestones: the AACSB Business Accreditation and its 10th anniversary as a Faculty. These achievements coincide with continued growth, as the student body, which includes 47% female and 46% international students, remains one of the most diverse among business schools. In 2024, new enrollments increased by 39%, driven by a 25% rise at the Bachelor level and a record 52% at the Master level. The GSEM's faculty members and researchers published  numerous articles in top-tier journals, obtained major grants including from the Swiss National Science Foundation and European Union, and received multiples awards and nominations.

The GSEM further strengthened its academic competence, research, and visibility by organizing over 100 research seminars, workshops, and brown bags.  It also had the honor of hosting a farewell symposium titled “Issues in the Labor Market” in honor of Professor Yves Flückiger, former Rector of the University of Geneva.

The annual report offers information about the GSEM’s advancements in teaching, research, and innovation. It provides an overview of developments and key figures; highlights the achievements of the School, its Faculty, and students; and invites us to relive the highlights of the School's year.
