Olivier Scaillet Elected to the Council of the Society for Financial Econometrics

GSEM Professor Olivier Scaillet was elected to the Council of the Society for Financial Econometrics (SoFiE), for a term of three years.
SoFiE is an international network of researchers and professionals committed to advancing knowledge and fostering dialogue in the field of financial econometrics. An independent, non-profit membership organization currently hosted by New York University, SoFiE promotes research and education by organizing and supporting conferences, programs, and initiatives at the intersection of finance and econometrics.
Olivier Scaillet is a Professor of finance, statistics and head of the Geneva Finance Research Institute. His research focuses on derivatives pricing, econometric theory, and the application of econometrics to the fields of finance and insurance. He’s recognized for his contributions to the private and public sector, especially in academia.
