Lisbon Convention

Candidates holding certain diplomas for successful completion of upper-secondary studies awarded in a country having ratified the Lisbon Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region (see the list below) but which, by themselves, do not grant access to University studies, may, as stipulated in that Convention, be eligible for enrollment under certain conditions:

Albania, Germany, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Macedonia, Czechia, Romania, United Kingdom, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine.

  • Non-Members of Council of Europe:

Australia, Belarus, Canada, Holy See (Vatican City State), Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, New Zealand, Tajikistan, United States of America.
