Confirmation of enrollment will be done by appointment.
As soon as you have met all the requirements indicated on page 1 of your Pre-enrollment certificate (PDF document sent by email with a link to this page), you can finalize your enrollment by following the instructions below
WHEN WILL MY APPOINTMENT take place?
Time-slots are offered between Monday 30 August and Thursday 16 September 2021 (mornings only). Additional confirmation time slots will be opened during the first two weeks of the semester (from Monday 20 September to Friday October 1st).
The duration of your appointment will be approximately one hour (including waiting time).
- You will need to have all the documents requested, including those you did not have at the time of application (for example, the original certificate of completion or the current year's diploma).
- For documents that have not yet been provided to the Admissions Department, bring a copy in addition to the original.
How and When can I make an appointment?

I cannot obtain all required documents before the start of the semester, what should I do ?
If you are only missing the original diploma but are in possession of an official certificate of successful completion, please follow the instructions for confirmation above. Depending on your academic profile, you will be given a deadline of November 30, 2021 to submit the original diploma.
Only if you are missing other documents: new appointments will be offered during the first two weeks of the academic year (September 20 to October 1).
- Start classes at the beginning of the semester;
- During the first two weeks of the semester, make an appointment among the new proposals to come and confirm your registration as soon as you are in possession of the missing documents. After October 1st, registration confirmations will no longer be possible.
IMPORTANT: If you are attending classes but are not yet registered, you will not have your computer access codes, tax payment slip or student card. You will therefore not have access to the semester certificate and will not be considered a "UNIGE student", with the consequences that this may have on course registration for example.
How can I change my appointment?
It will be possible to change the appointment up to 48 hours in advance, subject to availability. To do this, you must first cancel the appointment you have made and then choose a new one.
- Check the availability of time slots;
- Cancel the appointment from the confirmation email received by agenda.ch by clicking on "cancel appointment";
- On the page that opens, click on "Cancel appointment" again;
- Then on "Confirm";
- Click on "Book a new appointment".
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CANNOT COME IN PERSON DURING THE PERIOD INDICATED ABOVE?
Due to the current situation, it will not be possible to ask a friend or family member to confirm your enrollment in your place. However, you will be able to confirm your enrollment up to October 1st. Visit this page again as of Thursday 16 September. New time-slots will be offered during the first two weeks of the semester (16 September to October 1st) to come and confirm your enrollment.
For any major problem, please contact the Admissions Office via its platform: admissions.unige.ch (then "Ask us your question").
How can I cancel the appointment ?
If you can no longer come to study at the UNIGE, cancel your appointment as soon as possible to free up the space.
- From the confirmation email received by agenda.ch, click on "Cancel appointment";
- On the page that appears, click again on "Cancel appointment";
- Indicate a reason then click on "Confirm";
- Inform us via our platform admissions.unige.ch (then "Ask us your question").
I NO LONGER WANT TO BE ENROLLED AT UNIGE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you are positive, please let us know using the platform admissions.unige.ch ("Ask us your question"). This will allow us to stop bothering you woth other communications.
If you have already finalized your enrollment as described above and have received your student card, password, etc., you need to unenroll in accordance with the ad hoc procedure, even if you do it BEFORE the start of term.
Please note: Any requests to cancel your application or to unenroll are definitive for the current semester.
