Humanitarian Action in the Planetary Crisis Policy

The new UNIGE policy brief on « Humanitarian Action in the Planetary Crisis : 4 recommendations and 28 actions for humanitarians, researchers, policy makers and donors to protect people, animals, plants and ecosystems »  is « fresh out of the oven ».

This policy brief was crafted in Geneva in November 2023, with initial backing from the SNSF. It resulted from a robust transdisciplinary collaboration that involved extensive meetings between leading academics and dedicated humanitarians and a global online consultation that gathered diverse insights. This brief represents the alliance with the Geneva Health Forum (GHF) and One Sustainable Health Fondation (OSH), aiming to address pressing humanitarian challenges through One Health and Planetary Health collaborations.
