Community Health COS Workshops in Niger

In May 2024, Save the Children delivered the two first workshops to 15 InZone students in Diffa (Niger) following the UNIGE’s Certificate of Open studies on “Community Health”. These workshops focused on “Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health” and “Children’s Mental Health and Psychosocial Support.

The training consisted of theoretical sessions on the 20th and 21st of May, followed by practical activities in the field, including visits to five different sites in the region of Diffa (Afnori, Charé, Ariguirdi, Daddin Kowa, and Grema'Artori).

The results of this experience are very positive, and we plan to replicate this training in next academic year in collaboration with Save the Children Niger
