Nathalie S. Borgognon is a Doctoral Assistant at the Centre Universitaire d’Informatique, University of Geneva, where she conducts doctoral research in Information Systems on phygital continuity in collaborative design and prototyping activities. Her work sits at the intersection of software engineering, educational engineering, human-computer interaction, participatory design and hybrid learning environments.

She develops the Phygital Continuity Toolkit as a research-based set of resources for imagining, documenting and building connected phygital solutions. The toolkit combines Design Fiction materials for generating speculative scenarios and artifacts with a trace-backbone approach for translating these outputs into connected, reusable phygital systems. Her recent work investigates distributed co-presence, hybrid FabLab activities, and physical-digital interaction dynamics in collaborative creative practices.
