Collin joined the Renewable Energy Systems group at the University of Geneva as a Master student while studying physics at the University of Basel. For his Master thesis, he researched the impact of multiple decades of weather years on the Swiss electricity system for 2035. After graduating, Collin joined the Renewable Energy Systems group as a research assistant in 2025 to work on developing a regional hindcasting and forward-looking model for the Swiss energy system as part of the SWEET EDGE project.
