Intramolecular allylations, combined with either β-eliminations (1 → 2) or carbonylations (10 → 12 + 13, 14 → 16 and 17 → 19 + 20) were catalyzed by Pt(PPh3)4, Ni(COD)/dppb, or Ni(CO)₃PPh₃, respectively.
