My doctoral research focuses on regional philanthropic models, with a particular focus on the philanthropic practices characterizing contemporary philanthropic giving in the United Arab Emirates. Other research interests include the digitalization of philanthropy, philanthropic financial flows and the intersection of capitalism and philanthropy. I am a research assistant for a project on artificial intelligence and philanthropy.
