At Master's level, the Department of Philosophy offers a choice between a generalist course (Master's degree 90 credits) and a specialised course (Master's degree 120 credits ) in contemporary philosophy, ancient and medieval philosophy or the philosophy of science. As part of the generalist programme, the Department offers a range of elective courses covering many areas of systematic philosophy and many periods in the history of philosophy.
