The History of Religions Unit looks at religions from an anthropological, historical and comparative perspective. It covers the religions of Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome and provides students with training in the history of related approaches and methods. In conjunction with other departments, the programme also offers classes on Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and other Far-Eastern religions. Through this programme, students acquire rigorous methodological training and expertise in a specific cultural field.
1.5 years (3 semesters)
Except for disciplines involving modern languages (Spanish, Italian, English and German), where courses are offered in the relevant language.
