Scientific Committee

The Advisory Scientific Committee is made up of scholars and members of civil society recognized for their work in the field of cultural property. This committee is designed to assist the Executive Committee with its strategy and case selection for the project, as well as to act, when necessary, as an intermediate decision-maker between the parties of a dispute.

Irina Bokova, former Director of UNESCO from 2009 to 2017

Metin Arditi, Writer and President of the Arditi Foundation for Intercultural Dialogue

Antoinette Maget Dominicé, Professor of Law at the University of Geneva and Director of the Art-Law Centre

Gilbert Kishiba Fitula, Professor of Law and Chancellor of the University of Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo
