Gilles Carbonnier, Vice-President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), will give a public conference entitled “Conflict and Humanitarian Action: Navigating the Research-Policy-Pratice Nexus” on Tuesday 4 February at 5:30 pm in Uni Mail - room M R060.
The conference will be followed by a panel discussion with Raphael Gorgeu (Médecins Sans Frontières), Massimo Morelli (University of Bocconi), Ugo Panizza (Graduate Institute Geneva), Dominic Rohner (University of Lausanne) and Joachim Voth (University of Zurich).
In recent years there has been a surge in high-quality research on how policies can help to curb the risk of conflict. The aim of this public conference is to offer a dialogue between the academic world and practitioners on policies that can promote peace and share these policy insights with a broad audience.
