Two awards in management for GSEM professor and Ph.D. students

At the 2019 Annual Conference of the Strategic Management Society that took place in Minneapolis (USA) on October 19-22, Prof. Sebastian Raisch and Ph.D. Students, Steffen Nauhaus and Sebastian Krakowski, received two awards.

  • 2009 SMS Best Conference PhD Paper Prize to Steffen Nauhaus and Sebastian Raisch (University of Geneva, GSEM) for the paper “Decision Making in the Digital Age: Performance Aspirations, Stakeholder Sentiment, and Firm Risk Taking” 
  • 2009 SMS Best Conference Proposal Award by the Behavioural Strategy Interest Group to Sebastian Krakowski (University of Geneva, GSEM), Darek Haftor (Uppsala University), Johannes Luger (Copenhagen Business School), Natallia Pashkevich (Södertörn University), and Sebastian Raisch (University of Geneva, GSEM) for the paper “Algorithms and their Impact on Decision-Making Performance: Experimental Evidence from the Pharmaceutical Industry”
