Céline Carrère appointed Vice Rector at the University of Geneva
Professor Céline Carrère has been appointed Vice Rector of the University of Geneva and will work alongside the new Rector when he or she takes up the post in 2024.
In her new position, Professor Carrère will oversee teaching and interdisciplinary studies. Previously, within the Rectorate, she was Director in charge of interdisciplinarity and governance of interfaculty centers.
Céline Carrère joined the University of Geneva in 2011 and became Vice Dean of the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM) in 2017. A Professor of International Economics at the GSEM, her research focuses on exports from developing countries, preferential market access, and the impact of trade costs.
