Preparing your application
Choose from courses offered in other Swiss universities. Be careful of specific requirements imposed by some.
Learn in advance about course offerings at other universities (for example from their information sheets or on their website).
Choose a destination that offers courses corresponding to the curriculum you follow.
Some universities have specific exchange admission conditions. For example, the University of St. Gallen requires that Master level students have completed one semester of their Master studies at their home university before coming to St. Gallen.
Contact your UNIGE Academic Advisor to find out about study or research requirements during your exchange.
Prepare a list of courses or a research programme to be undertaken at the host institution.
IMPORTANT:
Exchanges within Switzerland are intended for students taking a full course load at the host institution. It is not possible to register simultaneously for courses at the host institution and at the University of Geneva.
