Farzaneh is a postdoctoral researcher in the Renewable Energy Systems (RES) group at the University of Geneva. Her research focuses on optimizing energy and exergy performance of agricultural greenhouse systems by exploiting industrial symbiosis opportunities and integrating spatial modeling approaches. Before joining the RES group, she completed her PhD in Energy Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, including a research exchange at ETH Zurich. Her previous work combined system optimization, GIS-based spatial analysis, and life cycle assessment to enhance resource efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of heat supply systems in Switzerland and Iran.
