Fleance joined the Renewable Energy Systems (RES) group at the University of Geneva in June 2025 as a postdoctoral researcher. His current research focuses on improving the predictive ability of the European electricity model D-EXPANSE, as part of the Swiss National Science Foundation project "Accuracy." Fleance obtained his PhD from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he specialised in the assessment of decarbonisation policies and in computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling.
