Xin Wen is a senior researcher at the Renewable Energy Systems (RES) group of the University of Geneva. Her research focuses on the application and development of advanced uncertainty modeling methods for improving long-range energy projections in all European countries, as part of the Swiss National Science Foundation project "Accuracy”. She actively contributes to teaching the course Energy, Climate, and Environment. Xin Wen was a postdoctoral researcher at the RES group since January 2021. Prior to joining the group, Xin Wen obtained her PhD in December 2020 from École Centrale de Lille. Her previous work includes statistical analysis and stochastic optimization for generation and scheduling decisions in an energy community under renewable energy uncertainty.
