Alena was born in 2003 and completed her Bachelor’s studies in Chemistry at the University of Geneva.

She is currently pursuing her Master’s internship in the Fernández-Terán group. She is especially drawn to chemistry at the intersection of multiple disciplines.

In her free time, Alena enjoys caring for her plants and tutoring students in science.
