Xiang Li joined the Chair for Energy Efficiency at University of Geneva as a Ph.D. student in May 2019. Her research, as part of the project Swiss Competence Center for Energy Research on Future Energy Efficient Buildings & Districts (SCCER FEEB&D), aims at modelling current and future cooling demand of the Swiss building sector. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Energy and Environment Systems Engineering from Zhejiang University (China). She subsequently completed her Master’s degree in Energy Science and Technology at ETH Zurich. Her M.Sc. project dealt with the optimal design of distributed energy systems combined with district heating networks. She has also interned at Landis+Gyr (Zug), where she worked on smart meter market analysis and business modelling.
