Who we are
The Stochastic Information Processing (SIP) group, part of the larger CVML lab, was founded in 1996 and is headed by Prof. Slava Voloshynovskiy. The group carries out research in machine learning, watermarking, fingerprinting, forensic detection, privacy protection. The research applies to visual media such as images, videos, and sounds, as well as biometric and genetic data. Our research results are described in about 300 refereed scientific publications and 14 patents.
Multiple PHD positions are available at the SIP group, please contact us.
