In autumn, we will publish a hardcover, as well as an open access, handbook with Springer, which will be entitled:
The International Handbook of Social Enterprises Law
Benefit Corporations and Other Purpose-Driven Companies
The concept of the handbook is to approach the topic with general contributions about the social enterprise movement in part one, followed by a second part on benefit corporations and B Corp certification, and a third part containing national reports on purpose-driven companies, enabling to understand the status quo in a series of selected countries. You will find attached, for your information, the latest version of the handbook’s table of contents.
To get a glimpse of what the handbook is about, have a look at the foreword written by Prof. Colin Mayer, Blavatnik School of Government, and Emeritus Professor, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, U.K.
Discover also the inspiring intervention of Prof. Colin Mayer in our international conference "Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy - Forthcoming Challenges and Realities" as key speaker of Workshop 2: the role of corporations for social entrepreneurship. The Conference took place on 8 and 9 June 2022 and was organised by the GCP in partnership with the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship.
