Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy

Forthcoming Challenges and Realities

 

On 8 and 9 June 2022, the  GCP organized an international conference ("the Conference") on Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy, in Geneva, in partnership with the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, sister organisation of the World Economic Forum.

The Conference was a global event, gathering some of the most prominent scholars in the field as well as government representatives and other important stakeholders engaged in fostering social entrepreneurship. The Conference was meant to be an interactive event. During these two days conference, five workshops took place, as well as a keynote speech

Two workshops took place on the first day (8 June 2022) of the Conference, and were held at the UNIGE premises. We concluded day 1 at UNIGE with a public conference open to the public. Three workshops took place on the second day (9 June 2022), and were held at the World Economic Forum premises.

Participants were able to attend all workshops , or choose the ones that interested them most. The programme was structured to ensure continuity for those who attended the whole event. You can find the detailed programme here.
