Students in this programme focus on learning the modern written language and the history and culture of Islam as a religion and civilisation. A language laboratory is available so that students can familiarise themselves with the spoken language and the variety used in the media. From the third year, emphasis is placed on studying the Koran, classic and modern literature, and all cultural, religious and artistic forms that are influenced in some way by Arabic and Islam.
