Training courses integrated in the curriculum

Training courses in information literacy are integrated in the curriculum of computer science students according this program:

Online training

InfoTrack is the UNIGE Library's online platform for online training in information literacy. It addresses the following thematics:

  • How to find information?
  • Document/literature research plan
  • Sort out the information
  • Plagiarism
  • Writing and communication

Through a series of 24 short video episodes, this formation relates various students' stories about information competencies needed to write academic papers and reports.

Midis de l'information scientifique

The Rendez-vous de l'info scientifique is a free program of training in information literacy skills. They are open to all, UNIGE members or external participants, upon registration. If you are a researcher at the UNIGE, these sessions are ideal to keep you up to date with current practices in the management of scientific data and information.

Those workshops take place in several Library's sites, including online (Zoom).
