Descriptif

There is probably no place where there is no expectations, opportunities, discussions, or challenges related to data science and artificial intelligence. This is especially the case in medicine.

The project  builds a platform  to leverage digital understanding and skills in data sciences with a special emphasis on the challenges raised by the medical domain. The platform addresses the following issues related to data science and artificial intelligence:

1. data acquisition;
2. data annotation and metadata;
3. data de-identification and anonymization;
4. data analytics.

The platform is organized in 5 modules: digitization in the biomedical domain, data access, data management, data annuotation, and data analytics. Through applied examples and practical exercices, all four aspects will be tackled with introductory material summarizing the challenges, concrete examples allowing the students to find open source tools to help them, and practical specific exercises to use some of these tools.
